On December 31, 2004, Evans National Leasing, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Evans National Bank* entered into a definitive asset purchase agreement with M C Leasing Co., Inc. Evans National Leasing continues to build upon the M & C Leasing history of service, as underscored by the Company's 50 years in the leasing industry. Driving its continued success is a dedication to customer service, innovative leasing programs, competitive rates, quick turnarounds and customized broker services -- a focus that will not change in the transition from M & C Leasing to Evans National Leasing, Inc.

M & C's roots can be traced to a vehicle leasing program in the Buffalo, New York marketplaces, started in 1953. By 1960, M & C recognized their business customer’s need for capital to acquire equipment. M & C transformed from a vehicle leasing enterprise into an exclusive equipment leasing company. In the early 1970s as success within its local markets drew national attention, the Company expanded further into equipment leasing for the Home Healthcare industry, covering all 50 states by mid 1980s. With its reputation for excellence building nationwide, the Company began partnering with key vendors in industries outside the Healthcare market. During the mid 1990s, the Company introduced a Broker program, which met a critical demand for lease funding, followed by other innovative programs such as a new Referral Program in 2000.
